Mistral-LCMS Nitrogen Generator: ideal for LC/MS instruments

The MISTRAL-LCMS Nitrogen Generator utilizes proven pressure-swing adsorption (PSA) technology to transform standard compressed air into a continuous stream of high purity, dry nitrogen.

MISTRAL-LCMS incorporates a unique dual-compressor system, that dramatically extends the lifetime of compressor and other internal components. The first-stage oil-free direct drive air compressor provides a continuous supply of air at relatively low pressure to the purification system. After purification, nitrogen pressure is increased to the final output pressure of 115 psig.

Due to the unique design, the MISTRAL-LCMS Nitrogen Generator requires less air to produce pure nitrogen.  In addition, since internal components are exposed only to relatively low pressure, their lifespan is extended dramatically, compared to traditional designs that utilize a single compressor. Since the compressors operate at much lower pressures, their lifespan is also dramatically extended compared to traditional designs. The result is a much more reliable nitrogen generator with significantly reduced operating costs and routine maintenance requirements and costs.

Features:

  • Flow capacity from 1 L/min to more than 60 L/min

  • Nitrogen purity from 96% to 99.9%

  • Optional UHP purifier to boost hydrocarbon purity up to 99.9999%

  • Adjustable flow-rate & purity

  • Pressure indication provided for outlet nitrogen supply

  • Integral oil-free direct drive air compressor

  • Unique dual-compressor design provides extended component life

  • Self-locking caster wheels provide mobility

  • Integral Oxygen Sensor monitors nitrogen purity

  • 1 year warranty (or 4,000 hours of operation)

  • CE & CSA certified

Mistral-0 Nitrogen Generator: ideal for LC/MS instruments

The MISTRAL-0 Nitrogen Generator utilizes integral hollow-fibre membranes to transform standard compressed air into a continuous stream of high purity, dry nitrogen. Due to their high diffusion rates, oxygen, water vapour and carbon dioxide diffuse rapidly through the membrane walls, while nitrogen is predominantly retained inside the membrane.

The MISTRAL-0 Nitrogen Generator requires no electrical power source and is ideal for laboratory facilities with an existing source of compressed air.  MISTRAL-0 Nitrogen Generator is available in 4 models, producing flow rates of 25 L/min, 40 L/min, 60 L/min, or 120 L/min. Each model is compact, lightweight, economical and is wall mountable.

Features:

  • 4 Models available: 25, 40, 60, and 120 L/min

  • Nitrogen purity up to 99%

  • Optional UHP purifier to boost purity up to 99.9999%

  • No electrical power required

  • Utilizes existing source of compressed air

  • Adjustable flow-rate & purity (by adjusting inlet air pressure)

  • Pressure indication provided for outlet nitrogen supply

  • 1 year warranty (or 4,000 hours of operation)

  • CE & CSA certified
